MUNICH — January 9, 2025 – S&P Global today announced the completion of a strategic minority investment in New General Company (NGC), a leading French automotive data provider specializing in VIN based technical data, vehicle history reports and market analytics, headquartered in Paris. This transaction was led by S&P Global Mobility, a division of S&P Global, and Mobility’s CARFAX team.
This investment in NGC further enhances CARFAX service offering to include deeper access to vehicle history and unique data for the automotive market in France, and builds on the organization’s strategy to expand its offering for clients across world.
