(MUNICH, November 16, 2021) The new website of CARFAX, a company specializing in vehicle histories, has been online in Spain since November 16. Spanish customers will see a new design with new account management and access to the growing CARFAX database, which contains more than 30 billion entries on some one billion vehicles from more than 20 countries. “With the launch of the new carfax.es, we give our existing and new customers more information than ever before in Spain. With our new account area, exclusive and heavy users, such as dealers, have the best overview of all vehicles they have checked so far, including a risk indicator,” explains Johannes Loose, Head of CARFAX Marketing Europe. All vehicles registered in Spain can be checked by their license plate, vehicles outside Spain by their VIN. Buying a used car always involves risks. Many sellers omit important facts, such as accidents or incorrect mileage, or do not know themselves what a vehicle has experienced in the past. A vehicle’s history significantly determines its real value and can reveal a lot about its condition. Depending on the vehicle and the data situation, events such as imports, mileage, accidents, but also inspections and administrative status are shown in the CARFAX History. CARFAX solves the information asymmetry between buyer and seller. CARFAX has been in Spain for more than 11 years and is one of the largest vehicle history providers in Spain. Every year, hundreds of thousands of vehicles are reviewed by millions of Spanish users through CARFAX.
